I worked as an audio producer and editor for the podcast Data @ Rest, created by Charlie Mewshaw and Michael Williams and sponsored by the UNC Information Technology Services Department. I gained a deeper understanding of Adobe Audition and streamlined my workflow from 15 hours to 5 hours. I also learned how to work with hosts to record the best raw audio, while remaining professional in knowing what to cut and what to keep. The most important lesson I learned is that communication between host and editor is crucial in creating the best end product. Through my promotion of episodes through social media channels (Facebook, Twitter), we received 40 5-star reviews.
